Below
you will find how to make a new dial up connection for Windows
95/98/2000. Just follow these steps and you will have no problems.
Make sure you use the access number confirmed in your order
and wait for your username and password we assign you for access.
1. Open "My Computer"
2. Then open "Dial-Up Networking"
3. Then open "Make New Connection"
Open up "make a new connection". Type in any name
you want for the connection name, select your modem, and push
next.
5. Type in the phone number on our Local # list that you will
be utilizing and then click next, and then finish. Once finished,
go back to your dial up folder (Step#2) and do the following.
Right Click on your new connection and then properties.
Make sure country and area code box is unchecked
Make sure Server Types are the same above. Check only "Enable
software compresion" and TCP/IP. Uncheck all others. Then
click the TCP/IP Settings button on the lower right.
Make sure the TC/IP setting look like the above. If so, your
done and can now connect to Mohawk Internet.
