It has always been Mohawk's policy to allow unlimited storage of mail. But since we have grown to the size we are, we find we can no longer have that policy. Many users, who may not even realize that they are doing so, have allowed excessive amounts of mail to accumulate in their accounts. When the mail system becomes full, ALL users are unable to reach their mail.
We must now ask you to review your old mail and discard any you don't really need anymore. If you don't want ANY of your old mail, then please write to service@mohawk.net and ask to have your 'mail spool' killed. it will automatically be reborn empty!
Mail spools which are overly large, will be killed without warning. We regret the necessity of this. So please take a little time to do some mail housekeeping.
It is our desire to insure that every user has access to a fair amount of mail space and can be assured that mail services will not become halted.
EXCEPTIONS: if you are using a remote computer which is not yours, or a laptop which is not your primary computer, please use our webmail program called mail.mohawk.net which will leave your mail on the server so you can both see it now and download it later onto your primary computer.
